Design Lab - Tote Bag

In Design Lab, we developed sustainable merchandise for Otis College that both celebrated student work and addressed environmental impact. After collaborating with stakeholders, our team designed a functional tote bag inspired by the Otis logo, featuring three pockets and crafted from recycled campus pole banners. Throughout the production process, we navigated challenges of working with thick, upcycled materials, finding creative solutions to maintain efficiency while balancing costs. I also documented the making-of process and created a promotional video for the Design Lab website. Once completed, the tote bags were sold in the on-campus student store, where we designed an engaging window display to showcase the final product and connect with our campus community.
